Bisquick Banana Bread

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom of 9x5x3-inch loaf pan

  2. In large bowl, stir bananas, sugar, milk, oil, vanilla and eggs

  3. Stir in Bisquick mix and nuts

  4. Pour into pan

  5. Bake 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; cool 10 minutes

  6. Loosen sides of loaf from pan; remove from pan and place top side up on wire rack

  7. Cool completely, about 2 hours, before slicing

  8. Wrap tightly and store at room temperature

Notes

I don't use nuts in my version of this but if you do, toasting them elevates the bread. I left the instructions for nuts in just in case someone wants to make it that way. I recommend chopped walnuts or pecans.

Double chocolate version:

Add a scant 1/2 cup baking chocolate and mix well. Fold in 1 chocolate bar, chopped into chunks.
