Ingredients: 1/2 cup mayonnaise; 1/2 cup buttermilk; 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes; 1/4 teaspoon dried chives; 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper; 1/4 teaspoon MSG; 1/4 teaspoon salt; 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder; 1/8 teaspoon onion powder; 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme; 1/8 teaspoon dried dill

Ingredients

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried chives
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon MSG
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon dried dill

Instructions

Combine and chill for a few hours to develop flavor.

Notes

The MSG is absolutely required for the correct flavor profile.

For the dip, sub in 8oz sour cream for the buttermilk and mayo.

The current bottled commercial version is a bit sweeter and saltier. Adjust to your taste but this is the place to start.

Also maybe double the garlic/onion powder?
