Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. In large bowl, using a spoon or your clean hands, mix the beef, onion, eggs, bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, 1/4 cup ketchup and milk until well combined.

  3. Press the beef mixture in ungreased 8x4-inch loaf pan.

  4. Bake 40 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven. Spread 1/4 cup ketchup evenly over top.

  6. Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in center of loaf reads 160°F.

  7. Let the meatloaf stand 10 minutes.

  8. Loosen the edges with a knife or spatula, and carefully invert the pan over a serving plate, tapping the bottom of the pan to release the meatloaf; if necessary, use two spatulas to lift it out of the pan.

  9. Gently slice with a serrated knife and place it onto your serving plate.

Notes

Optionally swap the ketchup for bbq sauce

Add a packet of ranch dressing for ranch meatloaf

Serve with mashed potatoes and brown gravy
