Ingredients

Mince garlic extremely finely, one for mild, two for extra garlic flavor
In a bowl or flat bottomed pot, wash tomatoes with a potato masher until soft
Add garlic and oregano
Do not cook
Notes
For a less watery sauce, only use the tomatoes and not the liquid in the can. Pierce the tomatoes and squeeze before adding to the bowl.
Even though this recipe is not cooked a pot will have a flat bottom which makes mashing the tomatoes easier.
Reserve leftover sauce for marinara dipping sauce for breadsticks.
