Tzatziki

This recipe was taken from Ginger with Spice but modified by me

Ingredients

  1. Shred the cucumber using a box grater

  2. Place on a plate or tray and sprinkle with salt

  3. Let the cucumber sit for 10-15 minutes

  4. Squeeze as much water as you can from the cucumber, discard the water

  5. In a medium-sized bowl, add the Greek yogurt

  6. Add the grated cucumber as well as the other ingredients to the bowl of the Greek yogurt

  7. Mix until combined

Notes

Don't use dried dill, and if you do that measurement is off. It's 1/3 dried to fresh so you'd use 1.25tbsp which is like 1tbsp + .75tsp but at that point you're already doing something wrong so just go buy fresh dill

You can add mint to this in addition to the dill, but the reason I use dill is because my friend is allergic to mint
